Our company is seeking to employ an Incident Response Services Manager to join and lead our Incident Response Services – Cyber Security Operations Department.

Neurosoft’s Incident Response Services are designed to assist organizations to effectively respond to cyber security incidents by provide guidance and advice regarding cyber incidents, forensics, malware analysis, incident response and threat intelligence. The IRS team assists organizations to identify and remediate gaps, as identified throughout the incident management & threat intelligence engagements latest security issues.

Position Responsibilities

The role of the Incident Response Services Manager, is responsible for the following:

  • Leading the IRS team day to day operations
  • Management, development and in charge of the overall performance of the IRS Team
  • Enhancement of the technical capabilities of the Team
  • Design and enhancement of the IRS service portfolio
  • Develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships
  • Manage & monitor the IRS Department Budget
  • Manage the performance KPIs of the IRS department
  • Attend industry networking events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on the market and develop new service avenues
  • Develop Innovation Management structures, to foster innovation in our service
  • Oversee all aspects of incident management process from evaluation to resolution
  • Promote and maintain a team environment
  • Being the point of contact to drive all cyber incidents managed by IRS Team
  • Drive incidents to a conclusion based on SLAs and criticality level
  • Coordinate the activities of analysts and parties external to the Incident Response Services Team involved incident response
  • Define improvement over incident playbooks
  • Provide mentoring and training to junior members of the team
  • Development of the supporting methodologies and frameworks required for service delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Bachelor in Computer Science, Information/Cyber Security, or other engineering or IT discipline
  • Minimum 5-8 years of information security experience
  • Minimum 2 years of management – team leading experience
  • Approximately 4-6 years or more of sustained experience in digital forensics, incident response, or relevant technical field
  • Information security experience in one or more of the following areas: cyber security, incident handling and response, exploit analysis, network intelligence gathering, vulnerability management, digital forensics methods and procedures
  • Experience with malware analysis and understanding attack techniques
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence tools & processes
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, EnCE, CEH, GCFA, GCFE, or GCIH will be considered as a plus
