Preveza Marina: Moored, connected and secure
Preveza Marina is located at the Port of Preveza, inside of Amvrakikos Gulf, at the heart of the Ionian Sea. Always guided by the highest international standards, besides boat docking, also provides complementary entertainment, leisure and commercial services, so that visitors can have a complete experience in front of the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea.
Neurosoft’s collaboration with Preveza Marina began when the marina’s infrastructure suffered a cyber-attack. Our organization immediately responded with a comprehensive recovery plan. Neurosoft’s ultimate objective was to fully upgrade the marina’s infrastructure, reassuring high levels of security. To this end, the project was divided into two phases in terms of Managed Services. Firstly, Enterprise Link was implemented, including SD-WAN-as-a-service provided in collaboration with TI Sparkle Greece. Secondly, infrastructure management services were provided, encompassing the backbone network, access points, servers and M365.
Neurosoft’s experts are well-versed in upgrading marinas to meet strict project requirements. This includes the ability to withstand high temperatures and humidity levels often experienced in marinas, as well as providing extensive WiFi coverage to meet the needs of boats. Our highly skilled technicians have undertaken the design of the solution, the implementation and technical support for the upgraded infrastructure. To accomplish this project, they have deployed Microsoft Cloud services and Enterprise Link firewall. Additionally, they have designed and implemented the backbone network with Juniper equipment, access points, hyper-V infrastructure with VMs to fully support the call center office, active directory services, CRM/ERP, WiFi internet service for Marina customers.
Those technical enhancements elevated Marina’s performance and service delivery to great heights. Thus, the Preveza Marina is now considered one of the most advanced marinas in Greece in the sectors of IT and Cybersecurity. The owners of Marina Preveza have already requested a quote for installing and upgrading the backbone network, as well as the internal network and WiFi of Marina Cleopatra, which is located in Aktio. Our next major goal will be to work towards fulfilling this request.
